Among the many causes
of neck pain, it is not uncommon to have a combination of cervical facet joint
dysfunction, shoulder joint dysfunction and degenerative disc disease secondary
to postural stress, all contributing to your neck pain.
It is also not
uncommon to have a cervical disc herniation along with cervical facet and shoulder
joint dysfunction.
There are many other scenarios and causes of neck pain. For example, postural stress (i.e., slumped, sitting posture), poor dietary habits and lack of exercise increase your susceptibility and sensitivity to pain and diminish your ability to heal.
